Companies have the choice of using handwritten labels with their inherent problems of being difficult to read, easily smeared, time consuming, fading with time and limited write-on area. Or alternatively use printed labels with or without bar codes which will provide the benefits of crisp, clear and readable text, ink that won't smear or fade, the ability to fit more information on the label, increased durability, resistant to solvents and chemicals, and far less time consuming to use.
BP-PRECISION
BRADYPRINTER™ MODELS 200MVP, 300MVP AND 600X-PLUS II These printers excel at higher volume print jobs. Featuring print resolutions of 203, 300 and 600 dpi and print widths up to 104 mm, Brady's printers are ideal for slide, well plate and vial identification.

TLS 2200® Thermal Label Printer
The TLS 2200® labelling system is a light-weight (1.25 kg) hand-held printer that provides thermal transfer printing, bar coding and multiple material configurations, including die cut and continuous labels. Printing labels for vials, test tubes, well plates, beakers and slides is fast and easy. Compatible with Brady IdentiLab™ software (p. 22 for details).

IP Series Label Printer
The Brady IP Series Printer is part of a complete printing solution. It is the first thermal transfer industrial printer that uses smart cell technology to communicate with the material, ribbon and software.

Brady Linear and 2D Scanners
We supply Brady Linear and 2D barcode scanners from the technologically advanced "Code Reader® 2.0" through to simple 2D keyboard wedge scanners
The Code Reader® 2.0 is a very powerful scanner that is light-weight, ergonomically designed and small in size so it won't take up valuable space on your lab work- bench or testing area. The CR2 has a dual path optical system, a 1.3 million pixel imaging sensor and the industry's most powerful 400Mhz processor by AMD. This level of power gives the CR2 the ability to scan the widest range of both linear and 2D bar codes, and makes for faster and more reliable reads. The CR2 can even be custom programmed for "smart" scanning.

Consumables
To ensure efficient identification, the right labels must be used for the specific sample applications. Brady manufactures labels that withstand all of the conditions that are found within laboratories from extreme cold from freezers and liquid nitrogen, through to high temperatures such as hot water baths. There are also labels which are resistant to solvents and chemicals, which in some laboratories are essential to maintain sample identification.
The size of the label is also extremely important as samples can be contained in large bags through to tiny vials, Brady provide labels in sizes to suit all samples containers for all of their label types.
Some labels require specific printer ribbons; all of these specialist ribbons are available across the whole Brady printer range.
