Creating a News item
- First make sure you're using Firefox (or at least a browser with tabs), otherwise these instructions won't be quite correct
- Right-click on the link below and select "Open Link in New Tab" (or middle-click on the link instead). This will create a new page with today's date as the title:
- Copy all of the text below, exactly as it's shown, and paste it into your new page
- Edit the bold content as required, noting these points:
- If there is no additional content, delete the whole of the CONTENT line
- If the news item is being posted on the rental site, delete the <noinclude> and </noinclude> that are in bold

- Go to the News page and insert the following text to create the link to your news item. If you place it before the <noinclude> section it will appear in the "Latest News" section on the Main Page. If you place it inside the <noinclude> then it won't.
- Most frequently you should probably add it at the top of the page, and move the last entry that's above the <noinclude> section down into the <noinclude> section:
